Fitness For Absolute Beginners (F4B) & Cardiac Rehab (CR)
If you haven’t exercised before or for a long time starting a new class can be scary but regular physical activity has many benefits. It reduces the risk of cardiac problems and some cancers. Reduces blood pressure, improves balance, co-ordination, joint mobility, flexibility and respiratory function. Relieves stress and helps relaxation. Keeps the mind active while still being fun. The class is combined with the Cardiac rehabilitation phase IV class. It has a safe steady warm up and cool down as experienced during phase III with a circuit class where you can work at your own levels closely monitored by Steve.
Tai Chi & Qigong
A favourite quote of Steve’s regarding Tai Chi is that it “builds health fast in slow motion”. It is suitable for all regardless of age or fitness level. It is proven to reduce stress levels, lower blood pressure, improve circulation and improve stamina, flexibility, posture and balance.
