The "Footwork Form" is now the first formal exercise drill or Kata that the student will be expected to learn. It is practised in every class, except for the Tai Chi and Kali classes. It is a drill that I have developed so that the student can practise how to move effectively so that they develop a good base from which to strike and defend themselves when away from the Academy. See it here on You Tube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lvFMOmbxGdA
