On the 1st of March 2006, there was a major revision of how Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation is administered, it is important that your First Aiders are current and aware of these changes. On the 1st October 2009 the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) made a number of changes to the way First Aid Training is delivered. The main changes being the Four day First Aid at Work (FAW) course being shortened to three days and the introduction of a new qualification, Emergency First Aider in the Workplace (EFAW) which effectively replaces the Appointed Person Course.
