This course teaches basic First Aid for those individuals that wish to gain knowledge of emergency procedures and attain a recognised qualification. This course can be tailored to meet the needs of the organisation or individual. Providing the employer with an individual able to support a dedicated first aider, who can perform CPR and deal with many different types of medical emergency.
Content:
Covers the same topics as the Emergency First Aid In The Workplace For The Appointed Person course but in much greater detail allowing for role play to become more familiar with each situation.
Duration: Three day
Cost: £195 per person for a minimum of 4. £150 per person for a minimum 8 and £120 for a minimum of 10.
Assessment:
Students knowledge and skills are examined at the end of the course by completing a written multiple choice test paper then an independent assessor will evaluate the response to a life threatening emergency. Successful students are awarded an H.S.E recognised qualification in First Aid valid for three years.
