Emergency Response First Aid
This course teaches Basic Life Support for those individuals that wish to know what to do in a life threatening medical emergency. At the end of the course they will be competent at CPR.
Content:
The aims and priorities of First Aid.
Personal Safety. Sending for help.
Casualty Management, prioritising of casualties and their injuries.
The unconscious and non-breathing casualty. Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), choking, dealing with blood loss and shock.
Duration:
Half day (3 hours minimum)

Students are assessed by the instructor for effective CPR. Certificate of attendance.
