Why Choose The Academy and Steve?

What greater gift could you give to another human then saving their life? Training can be tailored to meet your requirements, becoming an Emergency First Aider in the Workplace in just over 6 hours. Steve has been involved in first aid training for over 40 years and has personally dealt with all manner of incident from road traffic accidents to hypothermia on a mountain top. The classes are fun and practical, leaving you with the knowledge and skills to mange any first aid emergency efficiently and competently.

HSE Changes in First Aid Qualifications
On the 1st October 2009 the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) made a number of changes to the way First Aid Training is delivered. The main changes being the Four day First Aid at Work (FAW) course being shortened to three days and the introduction of a new qualification,  Emergency First Aider in the Workplace (EFAW) which effectively replaces the Appointed Person Course.
