First Aid

First aid is a valuable skill that is required by many companies today. By training at the Academy will learn all you needed to know to provide effective first aid that will enable you to keep your head when everyone else around you is panicking. Training will be tailored to meet your requirements and now the First Aid at work is only three days. Steve has over 40 years experience and has personally dealt with all manner of incident from road traffic accidents to hypothermia on a mountain top. The classes are fun and practical, leaving you with the knowledge and skills to mange any first aid emergency efficiently and competently.

HSE Changes in First Aid Qualifications

On the 1st October 2009 the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) made a number of changes to the way First Aid Training is delivered. The main changes being the Four day First Aid at Work (FAW) course being shortened to a three day First Aid at Work course and the introduction of a new qualification, Emergency First Aider in the Workplace (EFAW) which effectively replaces the Appointed Person Course. There is no place better then the Academy for First Aid training in Essex.
